How to create a perfect study routine for home | How to study in self-quarantine

Hi Lovlies! It's Bec and welcome back to my blog. In today's post, I am going to talk to you about 'How to create the perfect study routine from home'. I know that a lot of you are in self-quarantine and you are finding it quite challenging, based on studies. I have recieved many messages on social media that it's quite tough to be productive and avoid distractions, stay on top of the work-load. It's a big adjustment to go to work, highschool or uni. So, try to figure it out and do it on your own. You are not alone. I am going to help you. So, I have a huge list of tips and advices I am going to share with you in this post. So, I really hope you find it helpful. If you do, subscribe to my blog and give this post a like on Twitter and Instagram. Turn on the notifications too.

So, the first  thing I wanna talk to you is about looking to a strict study schedule. So I used to have a timetable while going to school. So, in this way, your day is especially marked out for you. So, it's important to take charge, to take control depending on your time each day. I have many planners already on my planner post on my blog. You can definitely check it out. You can also use a diary. The profit of using a diary is that I would say - Block it out! Blocking out how much time you need to spend each day on a subject, assignment or task. I think it's better to have both - planner and diary. A planner helps you to make a general outline for today and then schedule it into your diary every hour of the day. I'll recommend you too write down the assigment and notes on the planner so you don't miss out a single one left :)  It's really handy. Again you don't need to make a separate homework list. I'll upload a to do planner soon on my blog. In this way, you are physically present and you are on top of your work. You can complete the certain parts of the assignment you gotta need to and are urgent. So, in this way, you have everything ready on the due date. Again, you gotta be very intelligent here and write down all that you need to complete. So, you can even break down the bigger tasks into smaller tasks.

One thing can be very challenging when having a study routine with doing everything 100 percent from home is what you do when you have a question! You, you can have a separate note-pad on the desk and wrrite down whenever you have a question in your mind when you are working. And then, you can message or e-mail your teacher at the end of the day. You can even video-chat with your teacher, elders, family and friends. So, all you need is to pop it down, write it aside, and you are all done!

One thing that you really have in your school is the school-bell to prioritize your classes and subjects. So, you have nearly 40-45 minutes to move on to the next class or subject. So, what you can do by staying at home is that you can set pop-ups and alarms on your phone. Yeah, you're right! That's the pomodaro Technique! So, in this way, you are not spending too much time engaged with one subject. Many of us are like, we are often engaged with one subject for 7-8 hours and then, we feel to procrastinate. That's realaly bad :( So, you can do one subject for a time period and then another subject for another time period, and so on. In this way, you feel more productive and are up-to-date with your studies. So, it's really helpful if you stick to your school time. You can also prevent yourself from being burned out. So, you remember that you are working from home. You can really adjust at one space. Some of us, really find it tiring to sit at one place for hours. Others, like me, can sit down for hours and study till end. So, after you finish a time period of one study session, you can switch out from work or study-mode and give your body some move. So just get into pjs or some tracks and suites to give your body a signal 'Now its my time to unwind.'

More than that, it's also important that when you create tha optimistic morning routine, ust get motivated and talk to yourself that - Morning are really nice! I now many of us hate to study from home, including me. So just create an optimal environment in your house. Somewhere quiet. Avoid studying on a couch or on a dining table where families are working around and making noise and distractions. I think that it's very important to have your own study space. I am just lucky to have my own study space. So create one for you, too. It's really helpful and you know, I am talking this to you with experience. So, if you have that option, use it to your fullest in your house, and use it as your potential study location.

Even, don't think that you are self-quarantine, so you can't participate in collaborative study groups. I think thatyou can definitely have a video-chat with your study group buddies just to create a lit but a motiated and interested study sessions. So, having study sessions with your friends is like having a fun but also a excellent video study sessions. Take my word... Try it! You will thank me later :) I think that it's  good idea to consolidate your learning, sharing ideas with one another, but it also helps you to think that 'You are not alone. You have your friends with you.'

Next thing is what I appreciate a lot! It's very easy and nice. A lot of us are working and studying from home, including me. But, I have really learned a thing that just wake up at the fixed time, thank the morning, journal, be grateful for the new day, shower, get dressed, get out of your pjs. Make sure you do your hair and makeup. Make sure you are taking care of your self and practicing your morning routine. It's really important because it's much more like being productive. In general, you feel like you have woke up nicely, when you stick to that morning routine. When you don't stick to your morning routine, you feel lazy and just very productive. And, at last, you procrastinate. It's really bad. Next most important thing is to just take a bath in the morning. It's very important. It's not like you throw of your schedule out of window. Stick to your morning routine and be the one you were before this pandemic.
