My Morning Routine 2021! How to be productive in the mornings
Hey, lovelies, and welcome! I thought today I would with you guys my morning routine in this lockdown.
So, my morning routine usually starts around 7:30. I have a fairly productive day so I'll wake up and gotta make the bed first. You know, it's not like the bed fairies already come and made the bed for us. And next, I do my skincare routine. Alright, uh let's go do that!
Alright, so after I do my skincare routine and always wash my face because it always makes me feel so much more refreshed. I also have to brush my teeth. I'm the kind of person that I have to brush my teeth. First thing in the morning, I do it after breakfast and I find it really icky. Comment down below what order do you brush your teeth in or do you do it thoroughly in the morning, then have breakfast and then do a little bit of a light brush.
Anyway, after that, now that I am feeling a little bit more awake. I like to sit down in my armchair and do some morning meditation and just gather my thoughts. So, I like to use the calm app and it's just 10 minutes the daily calm, and they give you a beautiful quote at the end that really resonates with me every time. It's so nice. I love Tamara Levitt who narrates all of the meditations. Comment below if you do morning meditations.
Another thing I like to do while everyone else is still sleeping in this house is, I like to see my affirmation cards. I call them fairy cards and I grew up with these in the house and I found them in a shop a couple of years ago so I bought my own little collection and what I like to do is kind of close my eyes or I look out into the distance and I shuffle them and then I pick.
The next one I dropped is flexibility. Clearly got to work on my stretching :)
All right, the next thing I need to do to just start the day off is to make my cup of tea Cheers! Ah... so nice just makes me feel nice and calm to start the day so now that I have my tea. It's time for breakfast and my go-to breakfast at the moment is just buckwheat toast with almond butter and a little bit of Himalayan rock salt. It's nothing fancy but it's really yummy.
All right, now it's time to feed my pet as well because we can't forget about him.
Right now it's time to pick out my outfit for yoga because I like to go to a yoga class before I go to work. So, I'm just gonna pick out something really comfy but easy and I'll go for my black leggings and let's go for a little top, a sports crop say that's about it. Okay now that I'm ready for yoga to go to yoga and then into the office to start my productive day so I've got my backpack it's packed, I've got my laptop in there, I've got my charger, I've got everything else I need, I've got my snacks, got my lunch. Always you'll find me with my pink keep cup. It's from luxe cup and I love it. I refill it three four-five times a day in the office. I've got my swipe key, got my phone um I also need to change my clothes after yoga so I usually have an outfit ready to go. So, I guess I'll take these with me too and this as well and I feel like I'm all ready to go now.
